TCI Airports Authority announces airport development charge increase

It states the increased charge of $35 per passenger will be attracted to each ticket purchase made on or after February 1, 2024. 

The Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA) has advised the public of the airport development charge increase for all international airports within the Turks and Caicos Islands.

It states the increased charge of $35 per passenger will be attracted to each ticket purchase made on or after February 1, 2024. 

In response to queries from the public online, the TCIAA further explained that this is a departure only fee, noting the fee is currently $20 and is being increased to $35.

TCIAA added that this fee will help to improve the facilities and services at its airports.
