The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force was promptly notified, and first responders were deployed to the scene without delay. In the interest of safety, the terminal building and surrounding areas were evacuated, ensuring the protection of both passengers and airport personnel.
As the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force launches an investigation into the threat, thorough searches and monitoring of the airport premises are underway.
