St. Kitts & Nevis’ Prime Minister Terrance Drew Leads Geothermal Investment Talks in the Middle East

The Prime Minister’s Office of St. Kitts and Nevis has announced that the Honourable Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis, is currently spearheading crucial investment discussions abroad from Wednesday, April 10th, 2024, to Friday, April 19th, 2024.

During this overseas engagement, Prime Minister Drew is engaging with potential investors in the Middle East, focusing on major geothermal investment initiatives. These projects are aimed at advancing the Federation’s sustainable development objectives.

The outcomes of these discussions in key Middle Eastern locations such as Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai hold immense potential to propel the Federation’s sustainable island state agenda forward. Successful collaborations established during this period could pave the way for the implementation of innovative geothermal projects in Saint Kitts and Nevis, setting a benchmark for other small island states.In the Prime Minister’s absence, Deputy Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, is assuming the responsibilities of Acting Prime Minister. Dr. Hanley’s stewardship ensures the seamless continuity of government operations during this period of strategic engagement.
