Police Investigate Tragic Death of Teenage Girl in St Vincent and the Grenadines

Authorities in St Vincent and the Grenadines are launching an investigation following the tragic discovery of a teenage girl’s body.

The victim has been identified as Kemiesha Haynes, aged 17, hailing from Richmond Hill. According to reports, a resident stumbled upon her lifeless body over an embankment in Belmont at approximately 7 am on Sunday.

The Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has announced that a post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of her untimely demise.

In light of this heartbreaking incident, law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information that could aid in the investigation to come forward and contact their nearest police station.

Meanwhile, in an emotional interview with SVG TV News, Sharlene Cozier, the mother of Kemeisha Haynes, recounted her last encounter with her daughter. Cozier revealed that she saw her daughter for the last time on Friday, March 22, when she provided her with $10 in the evening. Haynes assured her mother that she would only be stepping out briefly but tragically never returned.
