Professor C. Justin Robinson will be inducted into his role as the new Pro Vice-Chancellor and Principal of The University of the West Indies (The UWI), Five Islands Campus.
A statement from The UWI says this historic induction ceremony—a first for the Five Islands Campus, will be attended by relatives, senior UWI officials, regional public and private sector representatives, and other guests from the Five Islands community in Antigua and Barbuda.
It will take place at SJPC House of Restoration Ministries in St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda on Saturday evening.
Professor Robinson, who is a national of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, succeeds Professor Densil A Williams.
Professor Robinson is a UWI Alumnus with a BSc in Management Studies (First Class Honours) from the Cave Hill Campus. He has an MSc in Finance and Econometrics from Florida International University and a PhD in Finance from the University of Manchester, UK.
He is a Professor of Corporate Finance and his work has been published over 50 times in regional and international journals.
