The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) Scholarship Foundation is now accepting applications for scholarships for the 2024/25 academic year. The foundation’s primary goal is to provide Caribbean nationals with the opportunity to pursue studies in tourism, tourism-related disciplines, hospitality, and language training.
The Scholarship Foundation seeks out individuals who have shown exceptional achievement and leadership in and out of the classroom and who are committed to making a positive impact on Caribbean development.
The scholarships and grants offered by the CTO Scholarship Foundation are for tuition only, and recipients may pursue their studies either within or outside the region. However, applicants must be prepared to cover any additional costs associated with their chosen course of study if the scholarship does not cover them in full.
Applicants must specify which scholarship or discipline they are applying for and may apply for up to two scholarships or grants, but they must submit a separate application for each. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered, and all applications must be submitted online.
The scholarships and grants available this year include:
- The Jean Holder Memorial Scholarship
- The Audrey Palmer Hawks Memorial Scholarship
- The Arley Sobers Memorial Scholarship
- The Bonita Morgan Memorial Scholarship
- A limited number of grants
The deadline for applications is Friday, 3 May 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Late applications will not be accepted, and all applications must be submitted online—no mail, email, or fax submissions will be considered.
Scholarship and grant recipients will be announced by the end of June 2024, and funds will be disbursed in July and August for the Fall Semester. Applicants may study at the institution of their choice, but they must submit an acceptance letter from an accredited institution to be considered for a scholarship or grant.
