The Montserrat Arts Council (MAC) is dedicated to nurturing the talents of our young and upcoming artists, prioritizing production quality, and ensuring adequate rehearsal time. In line with this commitment, we are announcing the postponement of the highly anticipated Junior Calypso Competition.
Originally scheduled for an earlier date, the Junior Calypso Competition will now take place on Monday, March 18, during the Cultural Show which begins at 3 pm in Heritage Village, Salem. This decision was made to ensure that our young performers have ample time to prepare and deliver their best performances.
This event promises to be an evening filled with vibrant energy and extraordinary talent. As always, admission will be free of charge, welcoming all members of our community to join us in celebrating the creativity and passion of our youth. With an anticipated huge crowd, we encourage everyone to arrive early to secure their spot for what is sure to be an unforgettable showcase of Montserrat’s cultural richness.
We understand that this change may cause some inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption to your plans. However, we firmly believe that this adjustment will contribute to an even greater experience for both participants and spectators alike, serving as a fantastic addition to the Heritage feast and show.
