Miss Guyana Andrea King has begun her journey to compete for the Miss World crown.
The 26-year-old left Georgetown yesterday destined for India where she will compete against over 100 women for the Miss World crown.
King is one of the first Caribbean delegates to make her way to the Indian subcontinent.
In an Instagram post, King said: “Off to my biggest adventure yet!!! Taking GUYANA to the WORLD!! My heart is so full!!!! I’m soooo excited for everything to come. I’m so grateful for all the support from each and every one of you. Thank you for being part of this journey. Our most exciting chapter starts NOW!!”
King is hoping to be the first Guyanese woman to wear the Miss World crown.
Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska will crown her successor on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
