TCI police hunt for alleged prowler

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) said it is actively searching for the man and they have released photos of the alleged prowler for islanders to report any sightings of him.

Residents of Discovery Bay and Cooper Jack Bay in the Turks and Caicos Islands have been urged to be vigilant and careful of a naked man, who was allegedly seen prowling in the communities.

The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force (RTCIPF) said it is actively searching for the man and they have released photos of the alleged prowler for islanders to report any sightings of him.

Head of Crime, Safeguarding and Public Protection Superintendent Dean Holden said: “The RTCIPF are prioritising this with dedicated resources investigating the report and increasing patrols in the area. Residents are asked to secure their homes appropriately and report any suspicious happenings. The male has been captured on local CCTV and was naked from the chest down and, if seen, should not be approached.”

 “Members of the public are asked to look at the images of the male face and the distinctive tattoos and to contact the police if they know his identity or have any other information that may assist the police in locating him.”

Anyone, who sees the alleged prowler, is asked to contact 911, their closest police station, or call Crime Stoppers at 1- 800-8477.
