One man is dead and three women wounded following a shooting incident in the Turks and Caicos Islands on Friday night.
According to a report, officers of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force are investigating the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in Grand Turk and the wounding of three females.
Reports state around 11:29 pm, the Police Control Room received reports of gunshots being heard at a location on West Road.
Officers arrived at the scene and received information that four persons received gunshot injuries. The three females, ages 31, 36 and 38, were rushed to the Cockburn Town Medical Centre for treatment.
The male victim has been identified, but his name is being withheld pending next of kin being informed.
The RTCIPF has extended condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
The incident remains under active investigation.
