Gunmen Injure Six in Bahamas Shooting Spree

Gunfire erupted in The Bahamas on Monday, leaving a teenage boy and five men wounded. 

According to the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the victims, aged between 16 and 44, were gathered in front of a business on Peardale Road, south of Wulff Road, around 6 pm when a small silver vehicle pulled up beside them. Two individuals in the vehicle then opened fire before fleeing the scene. 

The injured were swiftly transported to the hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment for injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Of the victims, two men, currently out on bail for offenses including manslaughter, gun possession, and attempted murder, are suspected to have been the intended targets of the attack. Notably, both were under electronic monitoring at the time of the incident.

The police have launched an intensive search for the three individuals responsible for the shooting, emphasising their commitment to swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice.
