Grenadian-born Creative congratulated on team’s Emmy Award win

The team won the Emmy Award at Night Two of the Television Academy’s 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Grenada and in particular Carriacou is beaming with pride as their very own Davone Alexis is now an Emmy Winning Assistant Editor after his team won the prestigious award for Outstanding Picture Editing for variety programming for the show ‘A Black Lady Sketch Show.’ 

The team won the Emmy Award at Night Two of the Television Academy’s 75th Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

In a post shared with his Instagram followers two days ago, Alexis said: “Our incredible team won an Emmy for Best Editing! 🏆🎬 Grateful for the hard work and creativity that brought “A Black Lady Sketch Show” to life. This one’s for the books! 🌟” 

Pure Grenada has highlighted the accomplishment and issued congratulations to Alexis, stating: 

“Congratulations to Grenadian-born Davone Alexis, originally from Carriacou, and his team on their remarkable achievement—winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Picture Editing for Variety Programming! 🏆 

Their outstanding work on the show “A Black Lady Sketch Show” has truly shone and brought well-deserved recognition to Mr Alexis, his loved ones, and his ancestral homeland🇬🇩 

Davone Alexis is known for film editing and storytelling. According to IMDb, Alexis as an Editor is known for Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody (2022), We Grown Now (2023) and Panorama: Jamming to the Top (2018), just to name a few.
