Canadian visitor dies after falling from balcony of hotel

A 24-year-old Canadian man died after falling from Myah luxury Suites hotel in Diamond, St Vincent, on Thursday 28 December.

On Thursday, the hotel in a release said; “The Management of Myah’s Luxury Suites can confirm that there was an incident involving one of our guests”.

According to a police source, investigators are now attempting to piece together the puzzle to determine whether the man jumped from the five-story building or fell accidently.

Sources tell the St Vincent Times that the man was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, the island’s major health institution, and taken to the ICU unit, where he  later died.

Our employees were proactive in alerting the relevant authorities and the matter now lies in the hands of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
