Overview of Director of Public Prosecution:

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions is responsible for the prosecution of criminal matters before all levels of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court i.e. the Magistrate’s Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. The office is headed by the Director of Public Prosecutions, and he, along with his junior counsels, are integral to the continued fight for justice and the observance of law and order within Montserrat. The officers within the ODPP aim to be impartial and objective in their assessment of criminal prosecutions with the sole aim of upholding the laws of Montserrat.
