Las Vegas hotel guest considers legal action after scorpion sting on the testicles

California man is considering legal action after he was reportedly stung on his testicles by a scorpion while he slept in a Las Vegas hotel room last December.

According to a report by the New York Post, on the night of December 26, Michael Fachi was staying at The Venetian with his family when the incident occurred.

“I just felt like somebody stabbing me in my private area. It felt like a sharp glass or a knife,” Farchi is quoted saying.

He reportedly went to the bathroom immediately after the sting to find the source of the pain and that is when Farchi stated that he saw a scorpion hanging from his underwear.

Farchi reportedly took several photos of the eight-legged creature before heading to the hospital because he was in a “lot of pain”, the New York Post said.

According to the report, Farchi filed a report with the hotel before checking out, and received his room for free. However he is now considering legal action.

A representative from The Venetian reportedly issued a statement saying the resort followed all protocols following the incident.
